PLEASE VOTE!! For those of you who are members of the NRHA it is time to vote for your South Central Regional Directors. The South Central Region is one of several regions in the US that encompasses Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri and Arkansas. Each region is made up of many affiliates that are eligible to elect members to serve as directors for that region. These directors will represent the region on the NRHA Board of Directors and as NRHA Committee members. Each affiliate board of directors is responsible for nominating eligible directors. The nominated individuals from each affiliate along with write in nominees are then put on a ballot for that region. NRHA members of each region are encouraged to vote in their regional election.

The TRHA Board of Directors has nominated the following as candidates for the South Central Region:

Nancy Eppers                               Michael Martin                        Josh Visser

These 3 people served for the last two years and hopefully will be re-elected.

Each NRHA member should be receiving an email like the one below from the NRHA. This email will include a link to a website with your ballot and password information to access your ballot. Once on the link you must scroll down to the bottom to access the ballot. If you do not receive an email from the NRHA and you are a current member please use the contact information given below to contact the office of Dennis York. If you are a current member but do not have email you should receive this information by mail. The online voting for the South Central Region takes place July 26, 2010 at 8:00 am CDT thru August 25, 2010 midnight CDT.  South Central members will also have the opportunity to vote in person at the South Central Regional Affiliate Finals held in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 4, 2010 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

2. You are a member of more than one affiliate

Please check the NRHA Affiliate Standings on www.nrha.com and even if your name is NOT in red, you still may have to designate. If you are unsure, please contact NRHA to find out whether or not you must designate.

EQUINE MARKET DAY FUNDRAISER! Please bring all your new or used tack, supplies, clothing, books, videos, ANYTHING horse related to the Warm Up II, in Waco, to donate to the TRHA for sale in the Equine Market Day. Clean out your tack room and closet and bring whatever you no longer want, need or use! Location of drop will be posted soon!

REMEMBER: If your name is highlighted in yellow on the Year End Standings, this indicates you are NOT a TRHA member and your points do not count towards year end points.
